Police: Men Held Teen At Gun Point, Made Him Strip and Twerk On Facebook Live

Date:

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police report a 17-year-old was kidnapped at gunpoint, stripped of his clothes, and forced to twerk live on Facebook. Police said Kameron Eggleston, 22, and Wardell Bufford, 23, also assaulted the teen, pointed a gun at his face, and threatened to kill him.

The victim said on Nov. 10, several individuals showed up at his apartment looking for his friend, and when he told them he didn’t know where he was, they took him against his will. According to the affidavit of complaint, the video showed one of the suspects ripping off all of the victim’s clothing outside the apartment. The victim said that after that, Eggleston pointed a gun at him and forced him into a car occupied by Bufford and another man.

Police said the victim was driven to the 3100 block of Madewell, where he was again ordered to remove his clothes. The victim said Eggleston began streaming live on Facebook, hit him, put a gun in his face, and forced him to twerk while he was naked. He said Eggleston stated, “I’ll kill you right now.”

The victim was able to identify Eggleston and Bufford from a photo lineup. They are both charged with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault -acting in concert, solicitation of sexual exploitation of a minor, and especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.

So far, it appears they are the only individuals who have been arrested. Eggleston is being held on a $400,000 bond. Bufford’s bond was set at $500,000.
