Day26 singer Qwanell “Que” Mosley became emotional as he shared a troubling experience involving music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs during a recent podcast appearance. Que spoke with Aubrey O’Day on the Aubrey O’Day, Covering the Diddy Trial show hosted by Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, where he first discussed his reaction to Combs’ ongoing legal troubles before recounting a personal incident from years earlier.
According to Que, during an event organized by Combs, he was given a pill by his then-girlfriend, Danity Kane’s Dawn Richard, that he thought was ecstasy but says turned out to be something much stronger. Que said he blacked out shortly after taking it and woke up disoriented in a bedroom at the location, surrounded by cameras and people who he says were laughing as he screamed upon regaining consciousness. He described the moment as feeling “very sacrificial” and emotionally overwhelming.

The singer has previously become emotional discussing this episode, including during another interview where he broke down while recalling the events. Addressing critics — including some fellow artists who questioned him for speaking openly about his experience — Que urged respect for people’s trauma and the healing process, emphasizing that others shouldn’t jump to conclusions before hearing someone’s full story.
After the podcast aired, Que posted on social media about the physical and emotional impact of the night, saying he had to work with doctors and family to recover and “relearn basic things.” In response, Dawn Richard released a statement denying Que’s account, saying she never drugged anyone or gave anyone pills and calling the suggestion false.
