Florida Man Charged With Aggravated Battery Causing Bodily Harm to Disabled Victim, Records Show

Date:

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A 24-year-old man, identified as Elijah Golshan-Nejad, was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail earlier this month on a serious felony charge involving alleged violence against a vulnerable victim.

According to jail records, Golshan-Nejad was taken into custody on April 12, 2026, and charged with aggravated battery causing bodily harm to a disabled person.

Authorities have not publicly released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the incident, including the location of the alleged offense or the condition of the victim. The charge, however, is considered a high-level felony under Florida law due to the alleged targeting of a person classified as disabled.

Jail records show Golshan-Nejad is a white male, born in November 2001, and was assigned an inmate ID upon booking into the Osceola County correctional system.

This is not the first time Golshan-Nejad’s name has appeared in law enforcement records. In 2025, he was among dozens arrested in a large-scale drug trafficking investigation in Central Florida, where authorities alleged he was involved in marijuana distribution and related offenses.

It remains unclear whether the current charge is connected to any prior investigations or if it stems from a separate incident.

As of now, no court date or bond information has been widely released. The case remains under investigation.
