SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — A Florida man whose arrest history includes allegations involving voyeurism and indecent exposure has been booked multiple times across Seminole and Volusia counties, according to publicly available arrest records.
Nicholas Jay Lydic, born Dec. 26, 1984, was booked in Seminole County on March 7, 2025. Records published by Seminole Busted list a first-offense voyeurism charge along with a warrantless violation of probation connected to a Volusia County case involving exposure of sexual organs.
That arrest was not Lydic’s first encounter with law enforcement involving allegations of this nature.
Records from Volusia County show Lydic was arrested in July 2023 on a charge of indecent exposure in public. He was later booked again in Volusia County on May 12, 2025, on allegations that included felony violation of probation/community control and voyeurism.
Lydic would attract law enforcement attention again in September 2026.
According to authorities and multiple Florida news reports, deputies responded to a Target parking lot in Oviedo after a woman reported seeing a man outside a vehicle allegedly touching himself. Deputies identified the man as Lydic, then 41.
Authorities said Lydic was wearing a teal G-string and white sneakers. Lydic reportedly told a deputy that he had gotten wet and was outside his vehicle changing clothes.
Investigators also reported finding a backpack inside his vehicle containing women’s underwear and sex toys. He was arrested on an indecent exposure charge, which Seminole County booking information identifies as a second or subsequent offense.
Taken together, publicly accessible records document at least four separate arrests or bookings involving Lydic between July 2023 and September 2026.
It is important to distinguish an arrest or criminal charge from a conviction. Charges are allegations, and an arrest alone does not establish guilt. The disposition of each individual charge should be determined from the applicable court records.
