RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man who gained an online following under the name “Usewopp” has been arrested and charged in connection with alleged sexual offenses involving a minor, according to court records.
Shane Anthony Eller, 21, was arrested Nov. 3 in Raleigh and charged with offenses stemming from alleged online communications and sexual activity involving a 13-year-old, records show. The charges were filed in Wake County, where the case remains pending.
Eller, who built a presence on adult subscription platforms and social media, had not publicly addressed the allegations as of publication. Authorities have not released additional details about the investigation, citing the age of the alleged victim and the ongoing nature of the case.
Court documents indicate the arrest followed an investigation into online interactions with a minor. Prosecutors have not announced whether additional charges are expected. If convicted, Eller could face significant prison time under North Carolina law, though sentencing outcomes depend on the specific counts and findings at trial.
