Influencer ‘Clavicular’ Arrested After Allegedly Staging Violent Airbnb Fight for Views

Date:

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A controversial social media personality known online as “Clavicular” is facing criminal charges after authorities say he orchestrated and exploited a violent altercation at a Florida Airbnb for content.

Braden Eric Peters, 20, was arrested in Fort Lauderdale on a warrant issued out of Osceola County, where deputies say the incident took place earlier this year.

According to investigators, the February incident occurred at a short-term rental near Kissimmee, where Peters allegedly instigated a physical fight between his 24-year-old girlfriend and a 19-year-old woman.

Authorities say the situation escalated into a battery, and rather than intervening, Peters is accused of encouraging the altercation and later posting the footage on social media to gain attention.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said neither Peters nor the woman believed to be involved in the fight initially cooperated with deputies when they responded to the scene. Investigators later built the case using video evidence and witness statements.

Peters now faces charges including misdemeanor battery and criminal conspiracy to commit battery, while his girlfriend has also been accused in connection with the incident.

A Pattern of Controversy

The arrest is the latest in a string of controversies surrounding Peters, who rose to prominence online through “looksmaxxing” content—a niche but increasingly criticized social media trend focused on extreme appearance enhancement.

His online persona has drawn backlash for provocative behavior, including posting shocking or confrontational content designed to go viral.

More recently, Peters has also been under scrutiny for a separate video allegedly showing him firing a weapon at a dead alligator in the Florida Everglades—an incident now under investigation by wildlife officials.

Bigger Picture

This case highlights a growing concern among law enforcement and critics: the pursuit of viral content crossing into real-world harm. Authorities allege this wasn’t just a fight—it was a situation manufactured and amplified for online engagement.

That’s the part people should really pay attention to. This isn’t just about one influencer getting arrested—it’s about what happens when clout becomes more important than consequences.

And right now, the system is starting to respond.
